Neverdaunt is an environment to adventure in.
That is its purpose, plain and simple.

Neverdaunt is not just another MMORPG...

No NPC's. There are no non-player characters standing in a fixed location ready to give out 'Quests' ...not of any sort.
No AI. There are no monsters roaming about for you to methodically kill and wait for them to re-spawn.
No Levels. There is no standard way to increment your abilities. There are no experience points, you will have to experience things yourself, and improve yourself.
No Inventory. There is no inventory graphical interface, no 2D representations of the 3D items available.
No buttons to click. There are no rows of 2D buttons containing actions to preform.
No logging out... well, ok you can actually. but you will always have a presence of some kind within the world.

So what can you do...

Magic.
Any given object in Neverdaunt can be imbued with magic. Activating that magic can affect almost any object in Neverdaunt. For instance, you could step onto a teleporter, which would activate it's magic and send your avatar to a new location. Or it might be as simple as allowing you to move a block, or extend a bridge. While in combat, it might do an amount of damage within a particular area... it might also make some explosive special effects.
This same magic can also be cast by players, and written down as spells on paper and even put into books. There are spells for even imbuing magic within an object, or disenchanting it. Magic is not simple to learn, it is an art, and it must be taught... It is the source of all power in Neverdaunt, those that control the knowledge of magic, and the objects which contain it, will have the power to change the world.

Create.
Each player is given a program called the 'Construct'. With it you'll be able to create spaces to play in, objects to play with, clothes to wear, weapons to wield, animations to act, and even ships to fly. These objects can be called into paper from within Neverdaunt, creating blueprints, which can be shared with other players and modified with another Construct. Each night the world will be updated with these new objects by using special magic items and the blueprints, allowing each player to help build every aspect of the world.

Combat.
More info forthcoming. But its quite different then what you've come to expect.

Adventure.
An exciting or very unusual experience... Neverdaunt is about exploring far off lands, taking risks, and being attacked by space pirates... or becoming a space pirate... or whatever it is you can find to do. Everyone's experience will be unique... and likely unusual. Don't want to fight? Take up a shop selling flying scooters you've made. Bored with selling things? Try exploring a random island for treasure. Make friends, guard a castle, rescue a princess... or make enemies, siege a castle, and capture a princess. Adventuring is the whole point of Neverdaunt.
